Lakeshore Cafe in Evergreen

Nice place for a very good lunch. Had the Lakeshore burger with hash browns and was very pleased. My wife had a wonderful BLT. The food was great, but the service was EXCELLENT! Our table server was a super nice young lady and went above with service for all our needs. Do yourself a favor and go there - we will definitely be back our next time in Evergreen.

Good old fashioned food with excellent service and reasonable prices not a 5 star due to limited parking

Great place and gorgeous...

Terrible breakfast. Hashbrowns were burnt and my over easy eggs were way over cooked. They forgot to bring us our pancakes and we had to flag them down to get a coffee refill. And besides that for two regular breakfasts to took 50 minutes to receive our food and the place wasn't that busy.

Delicious food everytime

I am up from Florida for the holidays, went and had a great cup of coffee looking out at the frozen lake.

Good food, lovely atmosphere

Be hungry for breakfast when you go here, servings are big. Very tasty, and very friendly service. I don't think anyone in our party were able to finish their breakfast, but we all enjoyed it.

The Lakeshore Cafe ia a little gem on the lake in Evergreen. Very good food and very nice staff. Cozy. Beautiful location. Try it.

It’s a little spendy... breakfast was $39 for two including tip, but it was also awesome and more than most humans should eat in any one setting! 😂 I’d recommend stopping by and checking out this local eatery. It’s one of the few places for a good sit-down breakfast in Evergreen.

Great little place with a good variety of breakfast comfort foods. They are small with limited wait staff but if you're not in a hurry, it's a great little spot to have breakfast near Evergreen Lake.

The food was good but the ambiance was lacking. We sat at the bar and the constant clatter of dishes in the kitchen a few feet away made me wish we had chosen a table instead. The servers were attentive but the kitchen was having trouble keeping up and our food took a longer time than I would have expected. Still, where else can you get trout and scrambled eggs?

Amazing Place and good food, I had the Breakfast burrito it was big and mighty delicious! It got a 4 because it got my Dad's egg order wrong and egg was a little dry. Bj it other than that, Amazing food!

The last "3" times we have been here the food has been not been the greatest so we thought One more time and the food was cold & tasteless, the place is NOT clean. We were turned away once a month ago when they said food was not deilvered, but people were eating.. Today we tried Again but, they only had "breakfast" at 12:00 P.M. We tried it, They turned away 2 couples and another 3 adults with chidren while we were there @ 12:30 & they were closed they told people! Think they wanted to leave early.. Although on the front door it is posted Open until 1:30! This used to be our favorite cafe, we drove from South West Denver to eat.. Is it Different owners? If they are, they better try a different business, They said no but the friendly girls are no longer there, and the place is devoid of customers. Used to be packed.. We will NEVER go back Again!! I looked at the reviews, I'm thinking they have friends review or they do the good ones. Barf!!

It takes very long time and it is drte

The service and the food was not good, potatoes were not all the way done, I like my Eggs Benedict a certain way, there was a problem with it, never had that problem before. The kid ordered a burger 15 minutes later waitress comes up to us and says "its Saturday we dont serve lunch. Was not worth the wait.

Great food and friendly staff

This place is small, and we had to wait about 15 minutes, but it is worth the wait! Staff is friendly and attentive, and also informative about things to do in and around the area. I ordered Trout & Eggs, and it was the best breakfast I have had in an extremely long time. The prices are really reasonable too, especially for the quality of food & service! This will be my breakfast spot every morning I'm in town, and whenever my family & I come back.

I tried this place in the past with my friend and I am obsessed since then. I liked the fantastic character and delicious food and beverages. Great work.

I gave two stars because the people were attentive and extremely nice; however, I ordered the veggie omelet with bacon added and I puked it all up eight hours later. I could give them the benefit of the doubt and say, I'm not sure if it was food poisoning or norovirus, but we probably won't make a return trip because being sick was awful.

Very quaint, w/ a small town feel. Food is hearty, as well as, tasty. Also, my son, who is five, loves this cafe's Mickey Mouse pancakes. 👍

The place is a bit small for groups or large families but the atmosphere, service, and food is great. Our new favorite!

Friendly staff brings speedy service. These guys know how to turn the tables. The egg sandwich menu item is just about the best value here or anywhere else in Evergreen. Don't tell the owner, OK?

We had such a great experience here! Loved the staff and breakfast was delicious. Can't beat the lake view across from the building and having good service means so much to me! I would recommend dining here every day if you could.

Food is bland, rubberband eggs, burnt to a crisp hashbrowns, pancakes like leather.

Small and friendly diner with fairly good food. It's a pretty popular breakfast destination, especially when Evergreen Lake is crowded.

Absolute best breakfast in Colorado!! Claudia, Chu, and the rest of the staff are terrific, food is fabulous and Lexi is delightful. For a true culinary experience try the Greek omelette with Lexi's secret jalapeño sauce - OOTW!!

Food was not hot. It should have been. Asked for more sauce, was charged for it but not told in advance; they took it off my bill. Took forever to be served. Got new bill, friend's drink was on my bill, they redid bill. Food is good but a lot of confusion. Overpriced menu, so minimal tip.

Came to grab breakfast to go, was turned away because they "just had a table sit down". I understand you are a small cafe, but it's plain rude to turn away a customer who is willing to wait.

Great little mom & pop style cafe. Nice people, always friendly. Breakfast burrito is great, as are the benedicts. Their jalapeno cream cheese sauce when available is excellent over a (thick and fresh) chicken fried steak.

This place was very busy at 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon, so that tells me it's well liked in the local area. Our food was really good as we got a variety of breakfast and lunch meals. The service was solid and very friendly. Prices were really reasonable as well. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting a good meal with no frills.
